The Bearden Middle School Foundation is steered by a Board of parent volunteers, the principal, and one teacher representative. For further information or to make gifts, please send an email. BMSF has applied for 501(3)(c) status and is currently pending and waiting approval from the IRS. All donations will be retroactively tax-exempt after approval.
Through community involvement and support, every student will have the opportunity to achieve his/her highest potential; every teacher will have the resources to educate in the most effective manner; and every administrator will be able to provide exemplary support and leadership.
To financially support and enhance the academic programs, activities and facilities of BMS and to provide an environment of academic excellence for all students.

We are exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501 (c) (3). Donors can deduct contributions they make to the Foundation under IRC Section 170. The Foundation is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.
